Course Description
This course focuses on understanding, identifying, and supporting mental health challenges commonly faced by high school students. Participants will explore the psychological, social, and academic pressures affecting adolescent well-being, with an emphasis on early detection, intervention, and the creation of supportive environments. The course integrates mental health theories, case studies, and practical strategies aimed at empowering educators, counsellors, and school staff to respond effectively and compassionately to student needs. It also highlights collaboration with families, mental health professionals, and peer support systems.
