Adam Smith looked upon entrepreneurship as the process of owning a business to which they supply the capital; therefore, the classical economist’s lumped interest and profit together. After separating the called entrepreneurship from capitalist, Cantillon recognized it as a separate process with a definite economic function.
The learners are enabled to understand the concepts of entrepreneurship, its need and scope. Understand the meaning of the term entrepreneur, the classification of the entrepreneur and the qualities of an entrepreneur. Appreciates the concept of innovation, and the students will also develop themselves as entrepreneurs and create the ability to assess the risks and establish risky businesses, but simultaneously suits perfectly to the changing scenarios of the economy.
