Dr. Sumathi, MSc, PhD (Nursing)

Professor

Dr. M. Sumathi is a very well experienced person in nursing with 15 years of experience as a HOD and Professor at Omayal Achi College of Nursing. She has done her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Medical-Surgical Nursing. She has worked as a professor in various reputed Institutions and has experience in multiple fields like Foundation, Nursing Education, Nursing Management, and research. She has varied academic knowledge, like setting question papers in the T.N Dr. Medical University, Tamilnadu, and Rajiv Gandhi University, Karnataka. She has organized, participated, co-chaired & chaired in various international, national, and state-level conferences and workshops. She was the Principal Investigator in The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University funded project. She has coordinated various UG, PG, and postgraduate diploma programs and guided many students for their undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
